Visit Andorra la Vella
Andorra la Vella is the capital of the tiny country of Andorra located in the eastern Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain. The city is easy to explore on foot, with its pedestrian-friendly streets that offer plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Popular tourist destinations include Sant Esteve Church, which dates back to the 12th century; Casa de la Vall, an old parliament building; and Church of Santa Coloma, with its impressive Romanesque architecture. Nature lovers can also take advantage of hiking trails in nearby valleys or visit Naturlandia amusement park for a day out in the great outdoors. An interesting fact about Andorra la Vella is that it has had a joint rule between France and Spain since 1278, when it became a Principality ruled by both countries' respective leaders.
